  • Presently, yes. GreenPanda’s toothbrush is designed for the lowest environmental impact possible without compromising hygiene or longevity. Our luxuriously soft nylon bristles, sustainably sourced from the castor bean plant, allow for the highest standard of hygiene through the ADA’s recommended 3-4 months of use.

  • Our toothbrush’s unique materials make it great at staying clean! Mao Zhu bamboo is naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial. After brushing, we recommend a thorough rinse with tap water. Let it air dry by storing it upright in a rack or cup for proper air circulation. The GreenPanda toothbrush is made from materials to love and care for, doing so will help it return the favor.

  • Our Mao Zhu bamboo handle is 100% biodegradable; our nylon bristles, while sustainably sourced from castor beans, are not. We recommend removing the bristles for residential composting. As a whole, the GreenPanda toothbrush is compostable in specific conditions usually offered in a controlled facility. We recommend contacting your local compost facility about eligible items or discarding your toothbrush with your household waste. GreenPanda strongly encourages finding a second life for your toothbrush after the ADA’s 3-4 months of use.
